17 March 2008 SA2 Worldsync Appoints Nihat Arkan as CEO, Cologne, Germany - March 17, 2008 – SA2 Worldsync GmbH today announced its board of directors has appointed Nihat Arkan as chief executive officer, effective March 15, 2008. Arkan, 43, was formerly senior vice president of commercial management for Agentrics and a member of the SA2 Worldsync interim executive management team. SA2 Worldsync, a leading provider of master data services for retailers and consumer goods manufacturers, was formed earlier this year through the combination of the Agentrics data synchronization business unit and SINFOS GmbH, the world's second largest data pool and master data services company. "Nihat Arkan has the vision, leadership abilities and extensive global experience to ensure SA2 Worldsync achieves its growth objectives and increases adoption of data synchronization across the retail and consumer goods industry," said Christopher K. Arkan was instrumental in the founding of Agentrics and its predecessor company, the WorldWide Retail Exchange (WWRE), which provides retailers and trading partners with solutions for sourcing, product lifecycle management and supply chain collaboration. At Agentrics, he was responsible for global operations, sales and marketing, product development, regional strategies and global customer management throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas. Before Agentrics, Arkan held positions in international trade management, sourcing optimization, logistics operations, finance and supply chain management.
