Senior Product Consultant – Genovation (Private Label)

This role is key to the successful implementation of GenNovation software to our retail and manufacturing clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis of the client’s business requirements, presenting the GenNovation solutions and best practice Private Label business processing, identifying where there are gaps or modifications needed to the existing GenNovation software and proposing the ideal adoption solution for the client’s use. A Senior Product Consultant will be involved in both pre and post sales activities, must be capable of both an outward and inward communication at a senior and technical level and author requirements/solutions and design documentation for the customer’s implementation by the GenNovation. The successful candidate should be comfortable in a technical and commercial environment and ideally have food manufacturing and/or retail private label experience.
Responsibilities:
- The consultant is expected to be an expert on the GenNovation solutions and be able to present and apply the solution to a Retail Private Label community. Bringing experience and knowledge to a relationship, advise the client on best practice worming methods and optimized approaches.
- The analysis and documentation of customer requirements and solution development and the presentation of the GenNovation solutions based on the analysis of these requirements.
- Working at a client location during implementation and adoption phases, matching GenNovation functionality to customer needs, identifying gaps in functionality and proposing appropriate solutions that meet customer requirements and the long term strategy of the GenNovation solution.
- Ensuring successful implementation and adoption of GenNovation for a client.
- The analysis of GenNovation solutions and provide recommendations to enhance and develop the use of the solutions.
- Participation in design review meetings, documentation and related processes to ensure ongoing and long term product quality
- Work with the commercial team and customers to determine and document the functionality required for new and existing software applications
- Working closely with software development teams to ensure delivery of software that meets the Agentrics and customer requirements
- Help to set the agenda for the company high level vision and goals.
- Serve as the link between Customers and the Agentrics Development teams
Required Skills and Experience
The following are essential:
- At least 4 years experience in retail private label and /or manufacturing businesses at an executive level or in business strategy and analysis.
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of working in a food and grocery retail or manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and oral, that can be applied in a complex environment, both internal and external
- High level of verbal analytical ability, sufficient to understand complex requirements, identify problems, seek relevant data, recognise impartial information and the ability to diagnose the possible causes of the problem
- Excellent PC skills in all office software
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to work within a dynamic environment. Quick starter and fast learner
- Ability to modify style and approach in order to achieve a specific objective.
- Excellent inter-personal skills, being able to engage, motivate and involve a wide range of individuals on project activities.
- Ability to deal with all management levels of a business
Desirable Skills and Experience
The following are desirable:
- Multi-lingual skills preferred for non-US roles (French, German preferred for European roles, Chinese and Japanese for Asia Pacific roles)
- Degree or higher educated
