Position Summary The Sales Coordinator is responsible for support two or more account managers by scheduling appointments into their calendars and prioritizing their activities according to importance. This role works with process management tools that enable you to objectively manage salespeople’s calendars and program their tasks. These tools will also enable you to manage multiple sales leads and opportunities on behalf of salespeople. The objective is to optimise the utilization of our salesperson/salespeople making sure that every available appointment slot in their calendar is filled with the activity that makes the greatest possible contribution to the organization at that point in time. It means making sure that all activities are scheduled in the appropriate sequence, and that all reports and databases are kept up-to-date. Manage the CRM database (adding and updating new contacts, recording notes, creating and updating opportunities, exporting marketing lists etc) and compile sales and marketing reports for management.
