Business Development Manager – US

Position Overview:

You will work closely with, and report directly to, our Managing Director. Your time will be spent in boardrooms around The United States presenting and facilitating workshops. On many occasions, you’ll be accompanied by senior members of our executive or technical teams.

Your purpose is to sell Agentrics’ solutions & services to top CPG’s in an ethical and professional manner by strategizing with customers in order to provide a company diagnostic and articulate solutions based on Agentrics product offers.

A presentation is conducted at each allocated appointment. Meeting outcomes are provided after each appointment, and provided to the Sales Coordinator – your own personal calendar organizer.

Your objective is to generate the highest revenue throughput possible by closing deals with new & current customers. You will achieve this by maximizing the conversion of pre-qualified sales opportunities.

In this position you will be able to:

Work with a fast-growing international company that counts the world’s largest retailers among its clients

Apply a true consultative approach to business development: (traditional ‘sales’ techniques not required)

Obtain an unprecedented level of administrative and sales support provided - including your own personal assistant.

Travel Requirements:

  • 50-75% Travel required throughout The United States

Skills and Expertise:
To be considered for this position you will need:

  • To be articulate, highly objective, extremely well-read and in possession of an above-average intellect
  • The ability to relate to senior executives from top-50 corporations
  • Some experience in operations, preferably in supply chain management and procurement
  • Public speaking skills
  • A willingness to travel throughout the United States
  • To be bi-lingual (English plus one or more of the following languages: French, German or Spanish).

Education and Experience:

  • We will favour applicants with a minimum of two years management-consulting experience, ideally with a consultancy such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Booz Allan, A.T. Kearney or Monitor.
  • Candidate should have 5-10 years CPG experience in addition to Retail expertise.
