GenSync Solution Consultant
Position Location: Home Office Based – any location considered
Position Summary:
GenSync Solutions Consultant is responsible for bringing retailers, suppliers, and local catalog providers live on the Agentrics Catalog in support of all GenSync Item Management. The individual will support the GenSync Team by providing the required assistance to Members, Participants and additional suppliers through Local Catalog Providers in acquiring and synchronizing item and party data via the GenSync Global Catalog solution for purposes of GenSync Item Management. This will be accomplished by working directly with retailers and suppliers or through third party relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Drive direct connect supplier adoption my conducting weekly training and support sessions aligned with the Retailer roll out activity.
- Responsible for day-to-day account management – supplier and retailer and LCPs
- Manage the trading partner implementation process from beginning to end.
- Develop and enhance implementation process
- Liaise between Application Support team, Product team, and Implementation team
- Schedule and coordinate connectivity testing for suppliers and retailers for testing and certification
- Setup and maintain customer profiles Agentrics Registration
- Capture supplier data capabilities and conform to global standards and member requirements
- Data Load for testing
- Manage coordination with product development team on upgrades
- Assist product development team with requirements management
- Work with MEDs and manage account pipeline for region
- Provide marketing and sales support as needed
- Manage performance metrics (i.e., service level agreements)
- Participate and present in supplier fairs and buyer education workshops
- Coordinating retailer/supplier rollout to additional trading partners (i.e., establish and maintain rollout plans and coordinate communication)
- Capture additional retailer data requirements
- Performing initial setup work to establish the trading partnership (i.e., subscription/publication profiles, trading partner profiles, etc.)
- Coordinate additional testing as needed (i.e., to ensure successful exchange of data between trading partnership)
Travel Requirements:
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and management skills
- Strong aptitude for working with company’s business processes
- Experience in retail, consulting, or eProcurement software a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Access
Globalization and Language Requirements:
- Previous Experience working for a global organization or living abroad
- English is required. Multi-Lingual is preferred. (Italian, Spanish, German, French)
Education and Experience:
- At least two year experience in a Customer Service role
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
